Bakery

Our Micro Bakery

Equipped with industry standard specialist equipment and staffed by experienced bakers, our Micro bakery offers our members a relaxed learning environment to develop their baking skills.

Bakery sessions look at all aspects of this branch of cooking and products made include bread, scones, cakes, biscuits, pasties, sausage rolls and scotch eggs. To name a few! Recently we have been focusing on health and nutrition, particularly allergens and have focused on adapting recipes for dietary need.

Our Micro Bakery was set up as an extension of our core cooking skills sessions, in our training kitchen. It runs on a social enterprise model, whereby produce is sold to cover the costs of materials to run. Our teams work on site as well as offering catering opportunities to other organisations in our ever developing citizenship programme.
