Health and Wellbeing Opportunities

Heathlands is led by our community to promote and enable the personal development and wellbeing of the individuals we work with. Heathlands ethos is to start with a person’s existing abilities, work with them to develop and maintain those skills, whilst creating new ones.

At Heathlands we care about everyone’s emotional and physical wellbeing. Each person has the opportunity to choose from
a wide range of activities, try out new ones and come up with ideas for new projects that promote healthy lifestyles and personal wellbeing.   Twice a year we undertake person-centred planning [PCP] with each member to tailor their learning
and fulfill each person's aspirations and potential. Each individual's accomplishments, ambitions and contentment with their time at Heathlands is reviewed during the PCP and choices are made for the coming months from the array of opportunities available.

Heathlands currently offers 18 session opportunities with four to six sessions running each day.

Nothing on our list that interests you? Then tell us what does.

Many of the sessions we offer came from the suggestion of our members, If it's a good idea and we have the abilities to facilitate the session we will add it to our PCP choices. Then if enough people would like to give it a try we will then run the session, a true member lead process.
