At Heathlands we support you to build on your interests and abilities, to learn new skills and to achieve qualifications. We’ll support you to achieve your ambitions and plan for your future.

At Heathlands we care about your wellbeing and your learning. You’ll have the opportunity to choose the activities you’d like to try over the coming months – you can have a go with something new, or continue with your favourite activities.

On the Heathlands Independent Living course, you’ll be supported to: Learn new skills, get to know your local community and become more independent, make new friends and improve your confidence and make plans for your future.

We're open Saturdays and holidays!

Due to changes brought in by the recent pandemic lockdown measurers, our Saturday service provisions are currently on hold.  We will update this as soon as we can.

Join one of our CLAS courses 
We currently provide 5 Community Learning and Skills (CLAS) Courses to our members, which run on separate days with external tutors from Cumbria Adult Learning. The tutors provided have specific skills in the subject areas they are teaching to our members, qualifications are awarded through Asentis .

Many of the sessions we offer came from the suggestion of our members, If it's a good idea and we have the abilities to facilitate the session we will add it to our PCP choices. Then if enough people would like to give it a try we will then run the session, a true member lead process.
